The Position
Are you a dedicated and committed Rehabilitation Registrar, looking to make the move to Darwin, then we would love to hear from you. Provide a high standard of medical care to patients, admitted or non-admitted, taking
initial assessment of patients upon admission and the daily progress assessment of the patient.
There are three accredited Rehabilitation Registrar positions available.
The Location
Nestled on the shores of a harbor even larger than Sydney's, this captivating tropical city is a sight to behold. The Facility
The unit has a 24 bed general rehabilitation ward dealing with a wide case mix of adult rehabilitation. This ranges from stroke/neurological, amputee, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic and multiple trauma. There is extensive exposure to the Indigenous culture and opportunities to attend Outreach clinics. A private hospital with a rehabilitation ward is also collocated at Royal Darwin Hospital. Outpatient clinics cover prosthetics/orthotics, chronic pain, stroke and brain injury. Exposure to intrathecal pumps and botulinum toxin injections is available. There is also onsite hydrotherapy facilities and extensive allied health service.

Requirements
- PGY 3+ or previous Registrar experience
- Have General registration with AHPRA and at least 12 months recent experience
