Toms is searching for an experienced Business Controller to our head office in Ballerup.
You will become a part of the Group Finance team consisting of six other colleagues and be referring to the Head of Finance. As a Business Controller, you will play a crucial role in propelling us towards our common goals. Your daily interaction will be with the Nordic Business Function who you will be supporting.
Responsibility areas
Your main purpose will be to provide our largest business function with insight into financial data and support key decision making.
Your tasks will include:
- Acting as a business partner towards management and throughout the business function providing insights and a finance perspective
- Support management in proposing action and plans to improve business performance through e.g. profitability analysis
- Communicating and explaining the monthly results, KPIs and deviations to management and the business function
- Together with the business function support and supervise the budget and forecasts
- Development and evaluating business cases
Leading and developing the Nordic business area
Together with the other business controllers you will be leading and driving the business controlling where you will be a part of securing Toms Group’s continued growth agenda.
You will be working hands-on and be expected to proactively drive, support and optimize the achievement of the strategy and the monthly targets.
Experienced business controller
As a person, you have natural authority and take the lead, while being collaborative and skilled at stakeholder management. You need to be able to keep several balls in the air and be able to prioritise, both for yourself and for your team. You must have the qualifications to join a complex, international organisation with high demands and expectations. It is therefore also important that you are independent and robust.
Furthermore, you:
- 5+ years of experience within Business Controlling or Business Partnering within Commercial Finance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data while being able to present results in a simple manner
- Experience within Power Bi is a plus
- Hold a master’s degree, a graduate diploma or similar in economics and business administration
- Are fluent in English
