Kubernetes, Docker, Golang, Bash, Git, OpenShift, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, etc. Our team is passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.
We are looking for an Open-Source Software Developer to work on our open-source projects and K10 to help enterprise customers succeed in their “cloud-native” transformation. We're hiring for this team across all locations in Germany. Work from our office or remotely - it's up to you to decide.
Your tasks will include:

- Driving deep expertise in cloud-native technologies and collaborating with Kasten’s product owners to define and own the broader open-source and cloud-native strategic initiatives.
- Sharing (presenting/communicating) our team’s work via blog posts, videos, and talks at community meetups and conferences.
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions in a high-level programing language such as C++, Java, or C#, and a willingness to code in Go
- Expertise in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multi-threaded, and concurrent systems
- Experience with distributed systems concepts and client-server architectures
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and concurrency)
- A university degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience
Will be an advantage:
- Experience developing in Go
- Experience developing for and on containers, container scheduler, and orchestration platforms
- Active contribution to OSS projects in the Kubernetes/Cloud-Native ecosystem
- Participation in CNCF Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) or Kubernetes Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
