HR Data & Systems Specialist [United Kingdom]


 

We are currently hiring a HR Data & Systems Specialist based at our Headquarters in Steeton (West Yorkshire, UK).

The Purpose of the role is to support the HR function through ongoing implementation, development and maintenance of HR Systems and Data, including the Time & Attendance ensuring accurate, real-time information is available. Providing Management Information to HR Managers through analysis and presentation of data reports created from the systems.

Type of Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Working hours: 37.5 hours p/w

Salary: £27,000.00 - £32,000.00

Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year, pro rata (including bank holidays) Raises with length of service

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide HR data and systems services covering the full range of employee life cycle activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining the quality of HR System data and for the preparation of timely, accurate and meaningful management information reports for key stakeholders.
  • Maintain permissions and configuration settings on HR, Time & Attendance and Recruitment software systems to ensure users have the correct access rights.
  • Working on HR projects, ensuring any required system configuration changes are made in a timely manner, ensuring any changes are communicated and understood by the HR Teams.
  • Driving systems and process improvement projects forward, providing coaching and developmental training to colleagues in relation to the implementation of HR systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of employee information on HR systems through auditing and exceptions reporting to identify issues and recommend process improvements and/or corrective actions.
  • Data entry, data cleansing, data import and export using system tools, and data reconciliation to business systems to ensure all data held is accurate and up to date as required.
  • Undertake additional office duties on reasonable request when required.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, keyboard skills and use of the internet
  • Must have advanced Excel and statistical analysis skills
  • Knowledge of good practice/procedures regarding compliance with data protection legislation
  • Strong administration background
  • Good attention to detail, analytical acumen, and business process knowledge
  • Experience within a HR environment is desirable
  • A working knowledge of systems integrations (APIs) is desirable
  • Must be flexible and available to travel to offices outside of the UK when required
