Title: L&D Associate

Position SummaryThe Leadership, Learning and Development (LL&D) Associate is responsible for coordinating logistics for the department’s partner learning program and enhanced partnerships, along with providing support for our annual Workplace Summit and Executive Forum events. The LL&D Associate will also be responsible for supporting the creation of new resources and learning content. The successful candidate will have acute attention to detail, project management skills, and enthusiasm for the organization’s vision and mission. In addition, this role will include public facing work, with an emphasis on interpersonal skills, including: facilitation, public-speaking, and relationship-building with corporate change agents.

Essential Job Competencies:
- Content Management: Oversees the collection, delivery, retrieval, governance and overall management of information in public-facing and internal systems. Designs taxonomies that are logical and informed by user data. Updates content in a timely manner accordance to editorial norms, program changes, and new information. Archives and deletes information when it becomes obsolete.
- Content Development: Conducts needs assessments prior to the development of new content and materials. Leverages accurate and trusted information. Creates content that meets learning objectives while ensuring strategic alignment with organizational strategy, brand, and editorial norms; Integrates and references other organizational content, programs, and offerings to foster continued engagement.
- Leverages Technology Effectively: Aligns to expected norms and behaviors in the use of technology. Utilizes all appropriate elements of technological tools available in a way that is efficient and logical. Maintains a current understanding of technological capabilities and
- Information Gathering & Processing: Locating and collecting accurate data from appropriate sources; sorting and evaluating data to prepare meaningful and concise reports that summarize important information.
- Client Focus: Provides service excellence to internal and/or external clients by responding quickly, appropriately, and accurately to communications. Facilitates answers; Uses appropriate language; De-escalates tense situations; Provides regular updates when an answer is not immediately available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner Learning (60%)
- Support the tracking and alignment of all departmental learning offerings, and maintain metrics, including detailed and organized records of all assigned training, partners through Asana and Salesforce
- Liaise with Corporate Engagement to track and manage partner relationships
- Assist Learning & Development team on analysis, research, data gathering, and content development as needed
- Manage relationships with partner learning points of contact, including onboarding, course selection, scheduling, and post-session follow-up
- Facilitate Foundational webinar offerings, and additional seminars, or other virtual educational opportunities on an as-needed basis
Leadership Development (30%)
- Support the LL&D Manager in creating resources and programming to maximize the impact for LGBTQ+ Gen Z jobseekers
- Support the LL&D team in creating additional resources and programming for other enhanced partnerships on an as-needed basis
- Support the planning and implementation of other leadership development projects as needed
- Support the LL&D team in tracking, collating, and reporting on enhanced partnership, and leadership development work
Event Support (Executive Forum, Summit) (10%)
- Assist with general event organizing and execution onsite as assigned
Other
- Participate in team meetings, staff meetings, and all major organizational events

- Typical hiring range for high cost of living locations (DC/CA/NYC): $49,751.00 - $66,335.00
- Typical hiring range for all other locations: $42,289.00 - $56,385.00
