Your role, and all the fun stuff you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll be a crucial support for our Operations Manager and Management Team. Your main responsibility will be providing administrative and managerial assistance, ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of all our Intrepid trips and travel products in Turkey. We have high standards, and your contribution will be essential in maintaining them according to the Intrepid Service Level Agreement.


As part of your role, you will be there to support Group Leaders and Guides during their trips. You will be their first point of contact when issues arise, providing them with up-to-date information about the country they are working in, specific trip details, leader trip notes, and operational systems and procedures. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with operators, acting as their primary contact for any issues that occur during ongoing trips. You will address and resolve these issues directly with operators, making visits and regular contacts whenever possible.


This is a full-time position located in our office in Istanbul, Turkey.


A bit about you:

These skills and experience are preferred, but not essential. If you think you’ve got what we need, we want to hear from you.

  • Extensive travel experience in the region and a passion for travel

  • Travel industry work experience

  • Management coaching / training experience desirable

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) in English.

  • A workable knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software

  • Strong ability to use operational systems (training provided)

  • You will also be expected to perform other duties from time to time which may fall outside the scope of your major duties and responsibilities but which may be required to be performed as business circumstances dictate.
